I began winding coils to alleviate the arthritus pain in my hands; the doctor advised me to begin exercising my hands daily.  Since I am a ham radio operator (WØHII) and I used to wind coils when I was a kid, it came pretty easy to do.

I've been a ham since 1963; I am semi-active on the bands.

I am retired after 34 years with Omaha Police and Omaha 911, ex-Deputy Chief of Communications and retired Crime Anbalysis Supervisor.
